Uni Graz eröffnet erstes österreichweites Habilitationsforum für Fachdidaktik und Unterrichtsforschung

Als eine wichtige Säule des Schwerpunktes „PädagogInnenbildung Neu“ wird am 11. Juli 2013 um 13 Uhr in der Aula der Uni Graz das Grazer Habilitationsforum Fachdidaktik und Unterrichtsforschung eröffnet. Die Eröffnungsveranstaltung bietet erste Einblicke in das Angebot des kommenden Semesters: Auf dem Programm stehen Vorträge und Workshops, in denen verschiedene Ansätze für Unterrichtsforschung praktisch zu erfahren sind. „Es gibt vielfältige Möglichkeiten, fachdidaktischer Unterrichtsforschung gemeinsam zu erkunden“, lädt Univ.-Prof. Dr. Agnieszka Czejkowska, Leiterin des Instituts für Pädagogische Professionalisierung und Gestalterin der Veranstaltung, ein. „Mit dem Grazer Habilitationsforum Fachdidaktik und Unterrichtsforschung will die Uni Graz Perspektiven für die fachdidaktische Forschung eröffnen und einen Beitrag zur Qualität der PädagogInnenbildung leisten“, beschreibt Czejkowska die Zielsetzung.

Drei ForscherInnen widmen sich im Rahmen der Eröffnung drei zentralen Bereichen der Unterrichtsforschung:
Prof. Dr. Peter Euler (Darmstadt) fragt danach, wie Verstehen als pädagogische Kategorie begriffen werden kann. Durch seine Frage charakterisiert er einen Gegenstand von Unterrichtsforschung.

Prof. Dr. Karen Borgnakke (Kopenhagen) versucht zu beantworten, wie Lernen im Unterricht untersucht werden kann und was Lernen von anderen Formen des Handelns unterscheidet. Diese Frage führt zur Methodologie von Unterrichtsforschung.

Prof. Dr. Mirka Dickel (Jena) geht der Frage nach, was es heißt im Unterricht ins Gespräch zu kommen. Das Thema widmet sich einem Ziel von Unterricht und damit der Programmatik von Unterrichtsforschung.

The Austrian Science Fund FWF has selected the Doctoral Programme in Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Graz for funding from the Doc.funds. Six young scientists will be funded for 3.5 years. They will gain fundamentally new insights into the origins of the world.

From trans women and knee prostheses: sports science prizes awarded

Walking better with a prosthesis, successfully getting rid of excess weight, training more effectively, more fairness for trans people in sport: these were the topics addressed by the students at the University of Graz who were awarded the sports science prizes for their Master's theses on 3 December 2025.
