Rund 2000 junge Menschen besuchten den Tag der Offenen Tür

Am Anfang eines neuen Lebensabschnittes steht die Matura, doch was dann? Mehr als 2000 SchülerInnen und Studieninteressierte kamen am 31. März an die Universität Graz, um sich für ein oder mehrere Studien an der größten Hochschule der Steiermark zu informieren. Wie jedes Jahr, laden am ersten Donnerstag nach Ostern alle Grazer Unis zum Tag der Offenen Tür ein. Für die Uni Graz organisierte das Team von 4students – Studien Info Service diesen besonderen Tag und bot nicht nur interessante Infotouren quer über den Campus, sondern lockte die Menschenmengen auch in zahlreiche Workshops in die Hörsäle. Mittels Shuttlebusse konnten die Studieninteressierten dann bequem die Universitäten wechseln.

In einer offiziellen Vorstellungsrunde begrüßten Dr. Gudrun Salmhofer, Leiterin des Lehr- und Studienservices der Uni Graz, Mag. Caroline Schober-Trummler, Vizerektorin für Forschung und Internationales an der Med Uni Graz sowie der zuständige Vizerektor für Lehre an der Kunstuni, Univ.-Prof. Eike Straub die BesucherInnen. Zeitgleich ging auch an der TU Graz die Begrüßungsveranstaltung über die Bühne.

A cinematic treat for the scientific community: the courtyard of the University of Graz’s main building is once again being transformed into an atmospheric open-air cinema this year. From 29 June to 10 July 2026 (Mondays to Fridays from 8.30 pm), blockbusters and documentaries will be shown on the open-air screen. Academics from the University of Graz will be taking a closer look at the films shown, examining them to distinguish fact from fiction.
