Gold und Silber im Snowboard Parallel Slalom bei den Winter World University Games in Lake Placid für Studierende der Uni Graz

Während heute in Schladming der Nachtslalom über die Bühne geht, haben die Snowboad-Athlet:innen die FISU World University Games 2023 in Lake Placid, USA, bereits erfolgreich absolviert. Zwei Studenten der Universität Graz freuten sich dabei über die höchsten Stockerlplätze: Matthäus Pink und Dominik Burgstaller holten Gold bzw. Silber im Snowboard Parallel Slalom. 

Nach der Silbermedaille im Parallel-Riesenslalom war dies die zweite Medaille, die Mätthaus Pink nun mit nachhause nimmt: "Ich konnte mein ganzes Potenzial ausschöpfen, es ist alles perfekt gelaufen." Dominik Burgstaller zeigte sich mit Platz zwei auch zufrieden:  "Es ist großartig,  wenn Matthäus und ich uns gegenseitig im Ziel gratulieren." Insgesamt heimste das österreichische Snowboard-Team in Lake Placid zwei mal Gold und drei mal Silber ein.
