Die Anmeldefrist für die Bachelorstudien Betriebswirtschaft und Volkswirtschaftslehre sowie für das Lehramtsstudium endet am 15. Mai 2016

Seit 1. März 2016 läuft die Online-Registrierung zu den Aufnahmeverfahren für zugangsgeregelte Studien im Studienjahr 2016/2017 an der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz.

Für die Bachelorstudien Betriebswirtschaft und Volkswirtschaftslehre sowie für das Lehramtsstudium endet die Anmeldefrist am Montag, den 15. Mai 2016.
Danach steht fest, ob ein schriftlicher Aufnahmetest durchgeführt wird das Aufnahmeverfahren weiter fortgesetzt wird. Für die Aufnahmeverfahren wird ein Kostenbeitrag in der Höhe von 50 Euro pro BewerberIn eingehoben. Der Beitrag muss bei der Registrierung online bezahlt werden. Alle korrekt angemeldeten StudienwerberInnen werden per E-Mail über das weitere Verfahren und die nächsten nötigen Schritte informiert.

Lehramtsstudium
BewerberInnen für ein Lehramtsstudium, die ab dem Wintersemester 2016/2017 an der Karl-Franzens-Universität das Bachelorstudium Sekundarstufe Allgemeinbildung studieren möchten, müssen sich ebenfalls bis 15. Mai 2016 registrieren und das Online-Self-Assessment absolvieren. Hier wird kein Kostenbeitrag eingehoben.

Die Anmeldefrist für die Bachelorstudien Biologie, Molekularbiologie, Pharmazeutische Wissenschaften sowie für das Bachelor- und Masterstudium Psychologie endet am 15. Juli 2016.

Jurassic Sounds: Biologist reconstructs insect songs from 165 million years ago

It was apparently not just the roars of the dinosaurs that made up the soundscape of the animal world during the Jurassic period. Crickets and grasshoppers communicated through a variety of songs and high-pitched sounds, as Thorin Jonsson from the Institute of Biology at the University of Graz discovered together with colleagues from the universities of Lincoln, Bristol (UK), Beijing (China) and Tempe (USA). The findings on what are so far the oldest traces of sound on Earth have just been published in the journal PNAS.

EU funding boosts international exchange between universities

In future, students will benefit from even more joint degree programmes and from simplified recognition of academic achievements through the Joint European Degree Label.
