Der österreichische Botschafter in London, Emil Brix (mitte), war Gastgeber. Vizerektor Peter Riedler und alumni-Leiterin Beatrice Weinelt empfingen die AbsolventInnen.

Der gute Ruf der AbsolventInnen der Uni Graz wird in den Metropolen der Welt gehört: Knapp 100 AbsolventInnen leben und arbeiten in London. Auf Einladung des österreichischen Botschafters in London, Emil Brix, trafen sich die Wahl-Londoner in der österreichischen Residenz am Belgrave Square. Dort empfingen Vizerektor Peter Riedler und alumni-Leiterin Beatrice Weinelt die Grazer AbsolventInnen. Die Veranstaltung wurde vom alumni Büro in Graz organisiert.

The Austrian Science Fund FWF has selected the Doctoral Programme in Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Graz for funding from the Doc.funds. Six young scientists will be funded for 3.5 years. They will gain fundamentally new insights into the origins of the world.
