Team der Uni Leipzig zu Gast in Graz

Acht MitarbeiterInnen der Uni Leipzig - darunter auch Rektorin Beate Schücking - sind derzeit zum Erfahrungsaustausch an der Karl-Franzens-Universität. Rektorin Christa Neuper empfing die Abordnung aus WissenschafterInnen und in der Verwaltung tätigen Personen am Montag zu einem informativen Gespräch. Nach einer Campusführung trafen sich alle Gäste mit den jeweiligen KollegInnen der Uni Graz. Mit dem Konfuzius-Institut sowie in den Bereichen Genderforschung und Biodiversität soll auch die Forschungszusammenarbeit intensiviert werden.

Zwischen den Universitäten Graz und Leipzig besteht seit 1987 eine Partnerschaft. Die Mobilität von Studierenden und MitarbeiterInnen ist eines der Ziele. Im Rahmen des ERASMUS-Programmes bestehen derzeit Abkommen in den Fachbereichen Soziologie, Anglistik/Amerikanistik, Umweltsystemwissenschaften, Sportwissenschaften sowie ein Abkommen für den interdisziplinären Austausch. Außerdem gibt es ein gemeinsames Joint-Degree-Programm.
