Neues Design der Uni-Graz-Homepage passt Darstellung an Endgerät an

Wenn das neue Design der Uni-Graz-Webseiten online geht, wird ein großer Schritt in Richtung bessere Nutzbarkeit der Seiten gegangen: Ab Mitte Februar sind sämtliche TYPO3-Homepages der Uni Graz im sogenannten „Responsive Design“ gestaltet. Der große Vorteil dabei ist, dass die Seite erkennt, auf welchem Gerät sie angezeigt wird, und sich automatisch daran anpasst. Während also auf großen Bildschirmen die gesamte Seite angezeigt wird, wird bei kleineren Bildschirmen, etwa auf Tablets oder Smartphones, die Ansicht so angepasst, dass die wichtigen Elemente wie Inhalt und Menüführung gut zu lesen sind. Eine bessere mobile Nutzbarkeit der Uni-Homepage war ein oft von NutzerInnen gemeldeter Wunsch. Mit dem Update wird dieser sowie weitere, etwa eine Kontaktbox mit zwei Kontaktpersonen, nun umgesetzt.
