Entry to the bachelor’s programme in Environmental Systems Sciences/Economics is selective and you will need to complete the admission process.
The admission process takes place only once a year, for enrolment in the winter and summer semesters of the relevant academic year.

The master’s programme in Environmental Systems Sciences/Economics builds directly on the bachelor’s programme, broadening and intensifying the knowledge and skills already acquired. At the University of Graz you also have the option of interdisciplinary master’s programmes and joint programmes, allowing further scope for individualised and specialised learning.
Preparation for a wide range of career paths
When you graduate, your combination of economics expertise and the overarching environmental systems sciences element will allow you to work in traditional fields of economics such as chambers of commerce and industry and other professional associations, banks, insurers, (international) companies and organisations, media and journalism, tourism, culture management, policy advice or management consulting. Alternatively, you will have opportunities in environmental, sustainability and project management, in planning and developing environmentally friendly products and processes, in environmental protection institutions, in the energy industry or in working on environmental sustainability audits.
