Die Uni Graz bildet auch Lehrlinge aus. Sarah Voller und Esther Scholz-Kummerth haben wie fünf ihrer KollegInnen in diesem Jahr frisch begonnen

Seit 1982 ist die Universität Graz erfolgreiche Ausbildnerin für Lehrberufe. So können junge Menschen heute in einer Organisation mit mehr als 32.500 Studierenden und 4300 MitarbeiterInnen Berufe wie GärtnerInnen, ElektronikerInnen, LabortechnikerInnen, MetalltechnikerInnen oder VerwaltungsassistentInnen erlernen. So auch Sarah Voller (Personalressort) und Esther Scholz-Kummerth (Studien- und Prüfungsabteilung), die im Sommer mit ihrer Lehrlingskarriere begonnen haben - insgesamt starteten in diesem Jahr sieben, ein achter Platz soll noch im Herbst besetzt werden. Besonders Esther Scholz-Kummerth, die sich mit ihren KollegInnen seit Anfang August um die Anliegen von Studierenden von der Inskription bis hin zum Studienabschluss kümmert, freut es an einer Universutät zu arbeiten.

Lehrlinge erzählen aus ihrem Leben
Um noch mehr junge Menschen für einen Lehrberuf zu begeistern, hat die Universität Graz ihre Lehrlinge zu ihrem Beruf befragt und stellt die Videos auf der Jobplattform "Whatchado" zur Verfügung. Interessierte können sich so ein Bild über die unterschiedlichen Berufe an einer Universität machen. Auch ForscherInnen und Personen, die im administrativen Bereich der Uni Graz arbeiten, sind auf der Videoplattform zu finden.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the diversity of languages without travelling far by taking part in a quiz at the station.
