Rektorin Neuper als Präsidiums-Vertreterin der Universitätenkonferenz bestätigt

Der Rektor der Universität Salzburg, Heinrich Schmidinger, wurde am 16. Dezember 2013 bei der Plenarversammlung der Österreichischen Universitätenkonferenz (uniko) an der Medizinischen Universität Graz anlässlich der Neuwahl des Präsidiums in seiner Funktion als Präsident der uniko bestätigt. Ebenso wurden die bisherigen Mitglieder des uniko-Präsidiums wieder bestellt, darunter auch Rektorin Christa Neuper.
Weiters gehören dem Präsidium an: Gerald Bast (Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien), Christoph Badelt (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien), Heinz Engl (Universität Wien), Sabine Seidler (Technische Universität Wien) und Wolfgang Schütz (Medizinische Universität Wien).

Das Präsidium der uniko bestellte zudem auf Vorschlag des Plenums Rektorin Sonja Hammerschmid (Veterinärmedizinische Universität Wien), die ebenfalls für den uniko-Vorsitz kandidiert hatte, als kooptiertes Mitglied des Präsidiums.
Die Funktionsperiode des neuen Präsidiums beginnt am 1. Jänner 2014 und dauert bis Ende 2015.
