Forscher der Universität Graz hinterfragen das Phänomen der „neuen Völkerwanderung“

Migration bestimmt als Dauerbrenner den öffentlichen Diskurs. Gibt es eine neue Völkerwanderung? Was ist dran an diesem Vergleich mit dem 5./6. Jahrhundert? Lassen sich Lösungsmöglichkeiten aus der Welt von gestern in das Heute übersetzen? Diese und weitere Themen hinterfragt eine Expertenrunde am 13. März 2018 an der Uni Graz.
Es diskutieren Florian Bieber, Professor für Südosteuropäische Geschichte und Politik an der Uni Graz, und Herwig Wolfram, emeritierter Professor für Mittelalterliche Geschichte und historische Hilfswissenschaften an der Uni Wien. Historiker Johannes Gießauf moderiert die Veranstaltung.
