Premiere einer unkonventionellen Campusführung am 4. Juni um 15 Uhr

Wie kam die Karl-Franzens-Universität eigentlich zu ihrem Namen? Wer oder was ist Treventus? Wann schwang man im Meerscheinschlössl das Tanzbein? Und wo hat sich im RESOWI-Zentrum eigentlich ein Fisch versteckt?

 

Antworten auf diese und andere Fragen erhalten Interessierte bei der Premiere der "Uni.Gänge", einer neuen Veranstaltungsreihe des Kulturreferats der ÖH Uni Graz. "Teilnehmende dürfen sich auf eine Kombination von klassischer Campusführung mit mobiler Theatervorstellung am gesamten Gelände freuen", verrät Kulturreferentin Mara Lisa Lerchner vorab Details zum völlig neuartigen Konzept.

 

Die Campustour der etwas anderen Art soll auf diese Weise nicht nur (kunst-)historisches Wissen und spannende Fakten rund um die Uni Graz präsentieren, sondern auch zum Lachen anregen und für humorvolle 90 Minuten sorgen. AbsolventInnen der Studienrichtung "Darstellende Kunst (Schauspiel)" der Kunstuniversität Graz garantieren eine kurzweilige Vermittlung auf hohem künstlerischen Nivau.

 

Die Premierenvorstellung ist gratis, allerdings auf maximal 25 TeilnehmerInnen beschränkt. Anmeldungen werden deshalb bis spätestens Freitag, 30. Mai 2014, an kultur(at)oehunigraz.at erbeten.

The Austrian Science Fund FWF has selected the Doctoral Programme in Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Graz for funding from the Doc.funds. Six young scientists will be funded for 3.5 years. They will gain fundamentally new insights into the origins of the world.

From trans women and knee prostheses: sports science prizes awarded

Walking better with a prosthesis, successfully getting rid of excess weight, training more effectively, more fairness for trans people in sport: these were the topics addressed by the students at the University of Graz who were awarded the sports science prizes for their Master's theses on 3 December 2025.
