Ein Gebäude spricht Bände: die neue Universitätsbibliothek. Rendering: BIG/Anna Artaker

Die modernste Bibliothek Österreichs wird eröffnet, BIG und Universität Graz laden zur Entdeckungsreise

Nach dreijähriger Bauzeit ist es soweit: Die Universitätsbibliothek Graz ist fertiggestellt. Die Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft und die Universität Graz feiern dieses Ereignis am 26. September 2019 mit einem großen Fest. Die BesucherInnen werden zu einer Entdeckungsreise durch das Gebäude eingeladen. Künstlerische Interventionen setzen überraschende Akzente und lenken den Blick auf die Architektur und die Geschichte, die Entwicklungen und die Zukunft der Universitätsbibliothek. Das Eröffnungskonzept hat Werner Schrempf, Intendant La Strada Graz, zusammengestellt.
