Palmen, Orchideen, Kakteen, Gemüse-Raritäten und Saatgut, dazu kostenlose Tipps und Erfahrungsberichte von Profis. All das bietet der Pflanzenraritäten-Markt im Botanischen Garten der Uni Graz am 26. und 27. April 2014. Garten-Deko und selbstgemachte Marmeladen werden ebenfalls angeboten. Für Kinder gibt es eine eigene Rätselrallye. Das Buffet auf der Gewächshausterrasse hält Getränke und kleine Stärkungen bereit.
Am Samstag, den 26. April, ist auch die österreichische Gesellschaft zur Erhaltung der Kulturpflanzenvielfalt Arche Noah vertreten. Sie bietet ein breites Sortiment an Jungpflanzen von Gemüsen und Kräutern, diverses Saatgut sowie Gartenliteratur an.

Der Pflanzenraritätenmarkt im Botanischen Garten, Schubertstraße 59, ist am Samstag, 26. April, von 9.30 bis 17 Uhr, am Sonntag, 27. April, von 9.30 bis 16 Uhr geöffnet, der Eintritt ist frei.
