Wie lernen und lehren wir Deutsch? Mehr in einer neuen Folge des Wissenschaftspodcasts "HörSaal: 15 Minuten Forschung"

Der Bedarf an Deutschkursen und gut ausgebildeten Deutsch-Lehrenden steigt. Auch, weil - zum Beispiel durch den Krieg in der Ukraine - in den vergangenen Monaten viele Menschen in den deutschsprachigen Raum kommen, die dieser Sprache noch nicht mächtig sind. Dafür bringen sie selbst einen Sprachschatz mit, der gehoben werden sollte. Das spannende Feld zwischen dem Erlernen des Deutschen als Zweit- bzw. Fremdsprache und dem Entfalten der eigenen Muttersprache als wichtige Qualifikationen in einer neuen Heimat erforschen WissenschafterInnen am Fachdidaktikzentrum Deutsch als Zweitsprache & Sprachliche Bildung der Universität Graz.

Sabine Schmölzer-Eibinger, Professorin für Deutsch als Zweitsprache und Sprachdidaktik, erklärt in der aktuellen Folge des Wissenschaftspodcasts "HörSaal:15 Minuten Forschung", wie Deutsch als Fremdsprache das Tor zu Welt öffnet und warum Deutsch als Zweitsprache die Basis für gesellschaftliche Teilhabe und soziale Integration im Alltag ist. Sie ist auch Leiterin des Lehrgangs "Deutsch als Fremd- und Zweitsprache" an der Uni Graz, der bereits seit 20 Jahren gefragte ExpertInnen in Praxis und Forschung hervorbringt.
