Die Grazer Wahl am vergangenen Sonntag hat es gezeigt: Die einzig ständig zunehmende Gruppe ist die der Nicht-WählerInnen. Noch vor rund fünfzig Jahren war das Nicht-Abgeben der eigenen Stimme nahezu unvorstellbar. Woher kommt diese um sich greifende Politikverdrossenheit?

Wilfried Winiwarter vom Institut für Systemwissenschaften, Innovations- und Nachhaltigkeitsforschung der Uni Graz ist dieser Tage "nachzuhören": im Ö1 Radiokolleg "Das elementare Lebensmittel". Gemeint ist damit die Luft. Winiwarter sprach gestern über die Zusammensetzung und Entstehung der Gashülle, die die Erde umgibt und Leben auf ihr erst möglich machen.
