Neues Buch zur Linguistik der Kinder- und Jugendliteratur wird morgen präsentiert

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen "sprechen" und "reden"? Warum nennt sich eine Sängerin "Lady Gaga"? Und wie kann ein "Kurschatten" überhaupt "Sonne ins Leben bringen"? In seinem neuen Buch "Kinder- und Jugendlinguistik: Sprachspiel, Sprachwelt, Sprachkritik" geht der Anglist Em. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alwin Fill diesen und weiteren Fragen auf den Grund.

"Das Buch soll junge Menschen zum Nachdenken über die Mehrdeutigkeit der Sprache anregen und sie gleichzeitig auch für die genaue Beschäftigung mit ihr begeistern", erklärt der Linguist. Junge Menschen sollen sich aber auch kritisch mit der Sprache auseinandersetzen – etwa mit Phänomenen wie Euphemismen – und daraus eine neue Kreativität entwickeln.

Fill behandelt auch andere Forschungsfragen, etwa, ab welchem Alter Sprache für Kinder überhaupt interessant ist, welche Bereiche sie besonders faszinieren und wie man junge Menschen für die Erforschung von Sprache animieren kann. Auch, welche Konsequenzen das hinsichtlich der Ergebnisse der PISA-Studie zum Textverständnis haben könnte, wird diskutiert.
