Dorfer sprach über das Verhältnis von Satire und Zensur und beantwortete auch Fragen des Podiums sowie Publikums.

Für reges Interesse sorgte der bereits dritte "Gastauftritt" Dorfers an der Uni Graz.

Kabarettist und Autor Alfred Dorfer sorgte für eine bestens besuchte öffentliche Seminarstunde

Er war durch seinen "Donnerstalk" jahrelang für erschwertes Aufstehen an Freitagen verantwortlich, hat sich mit Filmen wie "Muttertag" oder "Indien" ins kollektive österreichische Kino-Gedächtnis gespielt und sorgt derzeit mit Kabarett-Kollegen Florian Scheuba mit dem Programm "Ballverlust" für volle Spielstätten: Alfred Dorfer motiviert ein breites Publikum regelmäßig, sich mit satirischem Humor auseinanderzusetzen.

Der promovierte Theaterwissenschafter und Germanist zog heute, am 31. Mai 2016, auch ein begeistertes universitäres Publikum in seinen Bann. Insgesamt versammelten sich rund 340 Studierende, Lehrende und WissenschafterInnen im randvollen Hörsaal 06.01, in dem Dorfer eine öffentliche Seminarstunde zum Verhältnis von Satire und Zensur abhielt. Diese fand im Rahmen des germanistischen Moduls "Literatur- und Theatersoziologie", geleitet von Ao.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Beatrix Müller-Kampel und Univ.-Prof. Dr. Michael Walter, statt und wurde von der 7. fakultät veranstaltet. Dorfer, bereits zum dritten Mal als Gastlektor an der Uni Graz und selbst bereits Ziel von Zensurversuchen, beleuchtete mit Hilfe einiger Beispiele die Hintergründe und Effekte von Komikverboten.

These and other questions will be answered during the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz: on Friday, 24 April 2025, from 5 pm to 11 pm, in the University Library. Visitors can immerse themselves in the diversity of languages without travelling far by taking part in a quiz at the station.
