Anglistik und Amerikanistik prämierten ihre besten AbsolventInnen

Sie glänzen mit einer hervorragenden Diplom- oder Masterarbeit und einem Notendurchschnitt von höchstens 1,2 im gesamten Studium: Mag. Nicole Hofstadler, Mag. Bernhard Liebich, Mag. Gudrun Tockner und Adrian Zagler M.A. sind die besten AbsolventInnen der Anglistik und Amerikanistik des Studienjahres 2012/13. Am 26. November 2013 wurden sie im Rahmen eines Festaktes im Meerscheinschlössl mit dem traditionellen "Excellence in English and American Studies Award" ausgezeichnet.

Der Preis wurde von Ao.Univ.-Prof.i.R. Dr. Bernhard Kettemann im Jahr 2003 ins Leben gerufen. Er würdigt außergewöhnliche Leistungen und soll darüber hinaus zur Nachahmung motivieren.

The Austrian Science Fund FWF has selected the Doctoral Programme in Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Graz for funding from the Doc.funds. Six young scientists will be funded for 3.5 years. They will gain fundamentally new insights into the origins of the world.
