MusikwissenschafterInnen veranstalteten internationales Kolloquium in Italien

Wie die Werke von Verdi, Puccini und Co an den italienischen Musiktheatern nach 1861 produziert und aufgeführt wurden, vermittelt Cristina Scuderi ihren Studierenden am Institut für Musikwissenschaft. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Kollegen an der Università die Pavia, Fabrizio Della Seta, organisierte sie kürzlich das internationale Kolloquium „Producing and Performing Opera in Italy between 19^th and 20^th century“, an dem auch Grazer NachwuchswissenschafterInnen teilnahmen. „Der Austausch mit den italienischen Postdocs und Studierenden war sehr anregend“, resümiert die Scuderi. Im Rahmen der Exkursion besuchten die GrazerInnen auch noch das Conservatorio di Milano sowie das Archivio Storico Ricordi und konnten der Erstaufführung der „Fledermaus“ am Teatro alla Scala beiwohnen.
