Ringvorlesung an der Uni Graz wirft ab 9. März Blick auf regionale Beziehungen in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart

Vor 300 Jahren beendete der Friede von Passarowitz die Türkenkriege und machte aus Fein-den „benachbarte“ Partner, die nun versuchten, das Gegeneinander durch ein Miteinander zu ersetzen. Die Beziehung zu den Nachbarn beeinflusst Strukturen und Prozesse jeder Region. Um international wirksame Friedenskonzepte zu entwickeln, braucht es also zunächst die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Regionalen und der unmittelbaren Umgebung. In einer inter-disziplinären Ringvorlesung beleuchten WissenschafterInnen der Uni Graz das Thema Nachbarschaft aus vielfältiger Perspektive, von der Geschichte über die Geografie bis hin zur Literaturwissenschaft. Die Vorträge werden jeweils freitags von 8.15 bis 9.45 im HS 23.03 im Meerscheinschlössl (Mozartgasse 3, EG) gehalten. Am 28. Juni wird Historiker Harald Heppner ein Resümee aus der Reihe ziehen.
