Abschluss des European Master on Human Rights and Democracy in Venedig

Drei Studentinnen des von der Uni Graz mitvergebenen European Master on Human Rights and Democracy (E.MA) wurden kürzlich in der Scuola Grande di San Rocco in Venedig graduiert. Alle drei hatten ihr zweites Semester an der Uni Graz verbracht und dort Seminare am Institut für Völkerrecht sowie am Europäischen Trainingszentrum für Menschenrechte und Demokratie absolviert. Im Ranking des Masters erreichte Adriana Casulari Motta Rodriguez aus Brasilien den hervorragenden zweiten Platz von 90 Studierenden. Ihre Masterarbeit über „Multipliers for Peace: How Peace Education can Contribute to Conflict Transformation“, betreut von Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Benedek und Mag. Verena Gschweitl, wurde als eine von fünf Arbeiten zur Veröffentlichung ausgewählt.

Eine Absolventin des vorhergehenden Master Lehrganges aus Graz, Tessa Schrempf, wurde zeitgleich zur Vorsitzenden des Alumni-Netzwerkes des E.MA-Programmes sowie des Global Campus, das weltweit mehr als 2000 AbsolventInnen, umfasst, gekürt.

A research team from the University of Graz and the High Altitude Observatory in Boulder (USA) has succeeded in doing just that. The astrophysicists have developed an AI-supported method that makes even the smallest structures on the Sun visible. The scientists are convinced that this will bring about a lasting change in solar observation and that the new method can be used for the planned European Solar Telescope.
