Frauen gestalten Universität: Workshop für Wissenschafterinnen und Studentinnen der vier Grazer Universitäten

Die Hochschulszene ist ständig in Bewegung: Aktuelle Themen, wie, Zugangsregelungen, Studienplatzfinanzierung und Neubesetzung zentraler Gremien, beschleunigen die Debatte zusätzlich. Welchen Stellenwert hat dabei die Gleichstellungspolitik? Drei erfolgreiche Frauen der Uni-Politik bringen am 13. November 2012 im Rahmen des Workshops GenderNOW! ihre Sichtweise ein: - Mag. Eva Blimlinger, Rektorin der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Wien- Ao.Univ.-Prof.in Dr. Elisabeth Holzleithner, Institut für Rechtsphilosophie und langjährige AKGL-Vorsitzende der Universität Wien - Mag. Anna Steiger, Vizerektorin für Personal und Gender der Technischen Universität WienZiel des eintägigen Workshops der Koordinationsstelle für Geschlechterstudien, Frauenforschung und Frauenförderung ist es, Wissenschafterinnen und Studentinnen zum Mitgestalten an Universitäten zu motivieren und ihnen Informationen und Tipps für effektives Mitgestalten zu geben.

Students from the University of Graz are spending two weeks conducting research at the Univerisity of Graz research station at the Sermilik Fjord in Greenland, which has been operational for three years. They are measuring glacial runoff, tracking ice melt in real time and installing weather stations. ORF is following the expedition and will be reporting on the special feature ‘Arctic Adventure’ across its various channels from 20 July.
