Erster Bewerbungsaufruf im neuen EU-Programm für allgemeine und berufliche Bildung, Jugend und Sport veröffentlicht

"Erasmus+" ist das Nachfolgeprogramm der bisherigen EU-Programme und löst ab Jänner 2014 das Programm für Lebenslanges Lernen sowie Drittstaatenprogramme im Hochschulbereich (z.B. Tempus, Erasmus Mundus) ab. Am 12.12.2013 wurde von der Europäischen Kommission der erste Aufruf zur Einreichung von Vorschlägen im Erasmus+-Programm veröffentlicht. Die Verordnung zum Erasmus+ Programme wird am 20. Dezember im EU-Amtsblatt veröffentlicht werden, um am 21. Dezember 2013 in Kraft zu treten.

Im Rahmen des ersten Bewerbungsaufrufes können Vorschläge für neue Projekte und Mobilitätsmaßnahmen für das Jahr 2014 eingereicht werden. Für Österreich stehen in Erasmus+ 22,3 Mio. Euro an EU-Fördermitteln zur Verfügung.

Die Universität Graz hat die Erasmus-Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) von der europäischen Kommission erneut erhalten und ist somit auch in den nächsten sieben Jahren für alle Aktionen des neuen Programms teilnahmeberechtigt.

The Austrian Science Fund FWF has selected the Doctoral Programme in Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Graz for funding from the Doc.funds. Six young scientists will be funded for 3.5 years. They will gain fundamentally new insights into the origins of the world.
