Die Schnupperuni lädt drei Tage lang zu Probevorlesungen und Informationsveranstaltungen

Wie schaut die Uni von innen aus? Was kann man alles studieren? Und was ist überhaupt eine Fakultät? Viele MaturantInnen haben nur eine vage Vorstellung davon, was im Studium auf sie zukommt. 4students, das StudienInfoService der Uni Graz, bietet daher auch heuer wieder die Schnupperuni an, mit Probevorlesungen, Campusrallye und zahlreichen Gelegenheiten zum Informations- und Erfahrungsaustausch.

An die 200 angehende Studierende drängelten sich schon bei der Begrüßung in den Hörsaal 15.04, um praktische Tipps und neues Wissen zu ergattern. Am Nachmittag sowie morgen und übermorgen stehen Vorlesungen aus verschiedenen Studienrichtungen am Programm, parallel dazu gibt es Infostände. Donnerstagnachmittag berichten mehrere AbsolventInnen über die Highlights im Studium und den jetzigen Beruf.

Am Freitag, 28. August, wird ein Infovortrag für Eltern angeboten, und zwar von 12.15 bis 13.00 Uhr im HS 15.04 (RESOWI-Zentrum, Bauteil D, Erdgeschoß). Die Themen sind Studienangebot, Zulassung, Finanzierung und weitere Services.

The answers are provided by the initial findings of a major study involving the University of Graz. 99 per cent of those surveyed are in favour of the state ensuring healthcare provision. Almost three-quarters would like to see more public funding for education, whilst only around three per cent are in favour of cuts in this sector.

Science meets blockbuster: Campus cinema at the University of Graz

A cinematic treat for the scientific community: the courtyard of the University of Graz’s main building is once again being transformed into an atmospheric open-air cinema this year. From 29 June to 10 July 2026 (Mondays to Fridays from 8.30 pm), blockbusters and documentaries will be shown on the open-air screen. Academics from the University of Graz will be taking a closer look at the films shown, examining them to distinguish fact from fiction.
