Mehr als 2000 interessierte SchülerInnen besuchten beim Tag der offenen Tür die Zukunftswerkstätte Universität Graz

Noch sind Osterferien an der Universität Graz. Als Kulisse lernende Studierende, freie Hörsäle, ideal für den Tag der offenen Tür. Gemeinsam mit der Technischen Universität Graz und der Kunstuniversität wurde dieser Infotag wieder am Donnerstag nach Ostern organisiert. Heuer kamen mehr als 2000 interessierte SchülerInnen, um sich über das Studienangebot der Uni Graz zu informieren. Unter dem Motto "Wer willst du morgen sein?" gab es rund 80 Workshops zu einzelnen Studienrichtungen. Vizerektor Martin Polaschek, der gemeinsam mit Kunstuni-Studienrektor Harald Lothaller eröffnete, wies in seinen Grußworten besonders auf jene Studienrichtungen hin, bei denen es ein Aufnahmeverfahren gibt. Standort des Tags der offenen Tür 2019 war aufgrund der UB-Baustelle wieder das Zentrum für Molekulare Biowissenschaften in der Humboldtstraße. Im kommenden Jahr soll der Infotag wieder am Campus im Bereich der neuen Universitätsbibliohek seine Zelte aufschlagen.

Long Night of Research: How many languages are there in the world?

How many languages are there in the world? What are their distinctive features? Which of these are spoken in Austria? These and other questions will be answered during the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz: on Friday, 24 April 2025, from 5 pm to 11 pm, in the University Library. Visitors can immerse themselves in the diversity of languages without travelling far by taking part in a quiz at the station.
