Politikwissenschafter Peter Filzmaier anaylsierte bei den "Grazer Wirtschaftsgesprächen" die Landtagswahl 2015

Es war der Tag nach der Landtagswahl in der Steiermark. Und es war der Tag der vielen Erklärungen und Deutungen. „Peter Filzmaier spricht Klartext“, brachte es Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alfred Gutschelhofer auf den Punkt. Daher hatte Gutschelhofer den bekannten Politologen im Rahmen der Reihe „Grazer Wirtschaftsgespräche“ und in Kooperation mit dem Marketing Club Graz an die Uni Graz eingeladen, um am 1. Juni 2105 den Wahlausgang zu analysieren.

„Es war das historische schlechteste Wahlergebnis von SPÖ und ÖVP in der 2. Republik“, fasste Univ.-Prof. Dr. Peter Filzmaier gewohnt anschaulich und pointiert zusammen. „Gleichzeitig hat noch nie eine Partei 16 Prozent dazugewonnen“, so Filzmaier zum kräftigen Plus für die FPÖ. Die PensionistInnen hätten der SPÖ den ersten Platz gerettet, während die ÖVP viele Stimmen an die FPÖ verloren hat, erklärte der Politikwissenschafter.
Unter den mehr als 70 BesucherInnen befanden sich zahlreiche prominente Gäste, darunter Univ.-Prof. Dr. Thomas Foscht, Dekan der Sozial- und Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Fakultät, und Vizerektor Dr. Peter Riedler, der die Veranstaltung als „gelungenes Beispiel für den unmittelbaren Praxisbezug“ der Uni Graz bezeichnete.

In der Veranstaltungsreihe „Grazer Wirtschaftsgespräche“ – unter der Leitung von Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alfred Gutschelhofer – diskutieren renommierte Gäste aktuelle Fragen aus den Bereichen Wirtschaft, Politik und Wissenschaft. Rescue and risks: Researchers have surveyed public perceptions of AI
