Foto-Ausstellung ab 19. September im Botanischen Garten

Unter dem Titel "Vitrum Magnum. Altes neu gesehen" lädt Werner Steiner zu einem Fotostreifzug durch die historischen Gewächshäuser des Botanischen Gartens der Uni Graz ein und eröffnet in der von Kunsthistorikerin Dr. Eva Klein kuratierten Schau neue spannende Sichtweisen und Perspektiven.

Die Fotografien sind vom Künstler signiert, der Erlös der Ausstellung kommt der Erhaltung der historischen Gewächshäuser zugute.

Die Künstlerin Maret Schweiger zeigt im Rahmen der Schau Einblicke in eines ihrer Werke - die Grafik einer Innenansicht der historischen Gewächshäuser. Dieses ist als Motiv auf den "Glashaus-Tragtaschen", die in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Verein Denkmal Steiermark und der Forschungsstelle Kunstgeschichte Steiermark angefertigt wurden, zu sehen. Bei der Vernissage sind die Taschen um eine freiwillige Spende erhältlich und werden von Schweiger signiert.
