Die Summer University "Graz in Space" widmete sich dem Weltraum

Zum neunten Mal fand "Graz in Space" statt und abermals standen die beiden Tage der Summer University ganz im Zeichen des Weltraums. In 25 Vorträgen wurden dem zahlreichen Publikum aktuelle
und spannende Inhalte aus Weltraumforschung und -technik, Astrophysik, aber auch Weltraumrecht und Bildungsangebote in diesen Bereichen präsentiert.

Besondere "Highlights" waren unter anderem Vorträge über die erfolgreiche ESA Rosetta-Mission zum Kometen Churyumov-Gerasimenko und Mikroben im Weltraum sowie insbesondere der Abendvortrag über die Expeditions-Simulation auf dem Roten Planeten Mars.

„Graz in Space“ wird gemeinsam von der Kommission für Astronomie und dem Institut für Weltraumforschung (IWF) der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften (ÖAW) sowie dem Institut für Physik der Universität Graz veranstaltet.
