AK-Wahl 2014

Uni-MitarbeiterInnen wählen an der Uni Graz

Für alle Bediensteten der Universität, ausgenommen die BeamtInnen, ist die Kammer für Arbeiter und Angestellte (AK) die vom Gesetz bestimmte Interessenvertretung. Alle fünf Jahre erfolgt eine geheime und direkte Wahl der Vollversammlung der AK, die ihrerseits Vorstand und PräsidentIn wählt.

Die Betriebsräte sowohl für das wissenschaftliche als auch für das allgemeine Universitätspersonal unterstützen diese Wahl und haben eine Betriebssprengelwahl organisiert. Damit wird MitarbeiterInnen der Uni Graz ein unmittelbarer und bequemer Zugang zu ihrem Wahlrecht ermöglicht.

Wahltermine für das wissenschaftliche Universitätspersonal:
2. April, 10 – 12 Uhr, Aula (Hauptgebäude)
3. April, 10 – 12 Uhr, Mehrzweckraum des Wall-Zentrums
4. April, 10 – 12 Uhr, Sitzungszimmer des BRwiss (Heinrichstraße 18/1)
7. April, 10 – 12 Uhr, Sitzungszimmer des BRwiss (Heinrichstraße 18/1)

The Austrian Science Fund FWF has selected the Doctoral Programme in Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Graz for funding from the Doc.funds. Six young scientists will be funded for 3.5 years. They will gain fundamentally new insights into the origins of the world.

From trans women and knee prostheses: sports science prizes awarded

Walking better with a prosthesis, successfully getting rid of excess weight, training more effectively, more fairness for trans people in sport: these were the topics addressed by the students at the University of Graz who were awarded the sports science prizes for their Master's theses on 3 December 2025.
