Der Tag der Offenen Tür zog zahlreiche Interessierte an. Es gab Infotouren und viel Workshopprogramm

Der Tag der Offenen der Tür der (drei) Grazer Universitäten ist Geschichte, er ist für die künftigen Studierenden der Uni Graz aber richtungsweisend. Bereits bei der Begrüßung um neun Uhr, zu der Vizerektor Martin Polaschek und der Studiendirektor der Kunstuni Graz Dr. Harald Lothaller geladen haben, war der Hörsaal mit 400 jungen Studieninteressierten sehr gut gefüllt. Insgesamt waren mehr als 2000 Personen auf den Campus gekommen, um sich die Studien an der Universität Graz näher anzusehen. Stets das Ziel vor Augen zu haben und auf die richtige Studienwahl setzen, so lautenden die einleitenden Worte des Vizerektors für Studium und Lehre. "Graz ist mit seiner Bandbreite an Universitäten und auch Fachhochschulen als Studienort ideal", führte Polaschek aus. 

Die Beratungsinsel, die aus strategischen Gründen beim Zentrum für Molekulare Biowissenschaften in der Humboldtstraße angesiedelt war - die Universitätsbibliothek befindet sich ja gerade im Umbau - war gleichzeitig der Startpunkt für die 13 Campustouren, bei denen alles Wissenswerte über die Studien an der Universität Graz in Erfahrung erbracht werden konnte. Organisiert wurde der Tag - wie jedes Jahr und wie die Schnupperuni auch - vom Studien-Info-Service der Uni Graz 4students.

The Austrian Science Fund FWF has selected the Doctoral Programme in Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Graz for funding from the Doc.funds. Six young scientists will be funded for 3.5 years. They will gain fundamentally new insights into the origins of the world.

Walking better with a prosthesis, successfully getting rid of excess weight, training more effectively, more fairness for trans people in sport: these were the topics addressed by the students at the University of Graz who were awarded the sports science prizes for their Master's theses on 3 December 2025.
