#128 Why does helping help you learn?

When students solve problems for NGOs, associations or public institutions in a course, they benefit in several ways. Commitment to others supports learning and personal development and broadens the view of society. Campus Community Partnership (CCP) is the name of this concept, which business teacher Peter Slepcevic-Zach implements with students. The projects range from workshops with primary school children to promote economic thinking and action at an early age to the creation of a cost calculation for an organisation for the disabled. In his research, Slepcevic-Zach is investigating how the conditions for CCP can be improved in order to inspire even more universities and teachers.
