Am Start sind gleich zwei neue Studien. Und zwei NAWI Graz-Master sind englischsprachig

Die Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz erweitert ab Herbst ihr Master-Programm: Das Masterstudium "Global Studies on Management and Information Science (GLOMIS)" wird im Rahmen eines Joint Degree Programmes in Kooperation mit internationalen Hochschulen angeboten. An den vier Partneruniversitäten werden theoretische Kenntnisse und methodische Fertigkeiten in Zusammenhang mit Informationssystemen, -prozessen und Kommunikationstechnologien vermittelt. Jeder Standort verfügt über einen speziellen Schwerpunkt: „Betriebswirtschaft“ an der Universität Graz, „Informationswissenschaft“ an der Universität Hildesheim (Deutschland), Informatik an der Pai Chai University (Südkorea) und „Management Information Systems“ (Wirtschaftsinformatik) an der Chungbuk National University (Südkorea). Politische und empirische Ökonomik
Ein weiteres Studium an der Sozial- und Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Universität feiert ebenfalls heuer im Herbst Premiere: das Masterstudium "Politische und empirische Ökonomik" tritt ab 1. Oktober 2014 in Kraft. Das neue Masterstudium, das den bisherigen Master "Volkswirtschaftslehre" ablöst, ermöglicht vor allem eine Schwerpunktsetzung in Politischer Ökonomik und Empirical Economics. Letzterer ist englischsprachig; auch ein Double Degree mit der Universität Udine wird angeboten.

100 Prozent englischsprachig
Zwei bestehende NAWI Graz Studien, die gemeinsam mit der TU Graz durchgeführt werden, sind nun zu 100 Prozent englischsprachig. Damit hebt die Uni Graz ihren Anteil an englischsprachigen Lehrveranstaltungen und somit auch den Grad an Internationalität: Master Program Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering und Master Program Technical Chemistry. Ausländische Studierende bzw. all jene, die über kein österreichisches Maturazeugnis verfügen, müssen einen Englisch-Aufnahmetest machen, damit sie zum Studium zugelassen werden.
