Lab Rotation Program: BioTechMed-Graz fördert Masterstudierende

Mit dem „Lab Rotation Program“ bietet BioTechMed-Graz in- und ausländischen Masterstudierenden die Möglichkeit, vor der Entscheidung für eine bestimmte Doktoratsschule das Labor eines Vollmitglieds von BioTechMed-Graz kennenzulernen. Es werden pro Jahr bis zu zehn StipendiatInnen mit jeweils 8000 Euro für vier Monate gefördert. Jedes BioTechMed-Graz-Vollmitglied kann die Mentoring-Funktion für maximal eine Person übernehmen.
Zusätzlich erhält die Abteilung/das Institut des jeweiligen BioTechMed-Graz Vollmitglieds einen Sachmittelzuschuss in Höhe von 4000 Euro.

Die Ausschreibungsrichtlinien für das Programm und eine Auflistung der BioTechMed-Graz-Vollmitglieder sind im Mitgliederbereich veröffentlicht. Eine Anmeldung als assoziiertes Mitglied von BioTechMed-Graz ist unverbindlich und steht allen interessierten Personen offen.
Die Bewerbungsfrist für das „Lab Rotation Program“ endet am 30. Juni 2019, der Start einer viermonatigen Lab Rotation ist von Oktober 2019 bis 15. Jänner 2020 möglich.

Around the world in eight stops: the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz

On 24 April from 5 pm, you can take a short trip around the globe at the University of Graz, discovering pecularities of foreign countries or new local features in the entrance hall of the University Library. The itinerary takes you through introduced animal species, political attitudes and the omnipotence of algorithms. There will also be a programme in the historic reading hall, as well as at the UniGraz@Museum and the University Archive.
