Am 10. Juni informiert die Universitätsbibliothek in der Aula über Open Access

Was ist Open Access und wie kann es für die eigene Forschung optimal genutzt werden? Dieser Frage und noch einigen mehr wird am ersten Open Access Day an der Uni Graz am 10. Juni ab 13 Uhr in der Aula nachgegangen. Es finden interessante Fach-Vorträge zum Thema Open Access statt und zeitgleich informieren die Universitätsbibliothek, das Zentrum für Informationsmodellierung, die Akademie für Neue Medien und Wissenstransfer sowie der ÖH über Möglichkeiten des freuen Publizierens.

Der Publikationsserver der Universität Graz uni≡pub wird dabei ebenso vorgestellt wie Förderungsbedingungen des FWF und Horizon 2020, aber auch die Umsetzung von Open Access in der Lehre mit „iMooX“. Ebenso berichten ForscherInnen der Uni Graz über Ihre persönlichen Erfahrungen mit Open Access.

Around the world in eight stops: the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz

On 24 April from 5 pm, you can take a short trip around the globe at the University of Graz, discovering pecularities of foreign countries or new local features in the entrance hall of the University Library. The itinerary takes you through introduced animal species, political attitudes and the omnipotence of algorithms. There will also be a programme in the historic reading hall, as well as at the UniGraz@Museum and the University Archive.
