Experten-Vortrag und hochkarätig besetzte Podiumsdiskussion zu "Staaten und Banken in der Krise"

Das Verhältnis zwischen den EU-Mitgliedstaaten, dem Finanzsystem und der Zentralbank in der europäischen Währungsunion ist Thema eines Vortrags des international renommierten Ökonomen Prof. Martin Hellwig am 12. Dezember 2013 an der Uni Graz. Der Wissenschafter vom Max-Planck-Institut zur Erforschung von Gemeinschaftsgütern in Bonn und Mitautor des kürzlich erschienenen Buchs „Des Bankers neue Kleider: Was bei Banken wirklich schief läuft und was sich ändern muss“ ist Gastreferent beim Wirtschaftspolitischen Forum des Graz Schumpeter Centre an der Karl-Franzens-Universität.

Im Anschluss an seinen Vortrag diskutiert Martin Hellwig mit Dr. Othmar Ederer, Generaldirektor der Grazer Wechselseitigen Versicherung, Dr. Gerald Resch, Bereichsleiter „Integrierte Aufsicht“ der Österreichischen Finanzmarktaufsicht FMA, und Dr. Martin Summer, Leiter der volkswirtschaftlichen Abteilung der Österreichischen Nationalbank. Moderator der Podiumsdiskussion ist Univ.-Prof. Dr. Heinz D. Kurz, Leiter des Graz Schumpeter Centre.
