Die Podcast-Plattform der Grazer Universtitäten, der AirCampus, präsentiert jeden Montag vier Wissens-Podcasts, heute zu diesen Themen:
1) Hightech aus dem Hörsaal: Aus dem Labor direkt auf den Markt: An Universitäten wird nicht nur gelehrt, studiert und geforscht, sondern auch erfunden – neue Technologien nämlich, die in konkreten Produkten oder Verfahren münden können. Und manchmal sogar in spin-off Unternehmen!

2) Lernen auf Abruf: Digitale Transformation, Individualisierung und Flexibilisierung stehen künftig wohl auf unser aller Agenda – so auch in den Weiterbildungsprogrammen der TU Graz. Unter dem Stichwort Life Long Learning feiern sie ihren 15. Geburtstag.
3) Blockade: Myeloische Leukämie ist eine Form von Blutkrebs, bei der es nach der Therapie oft zu Krankheitsrückfällen kommt. Tobias Madl und sein Team haben nun herausgefunden, wer die körpereigenen Helferzellen stört: die Milchsäure.
4) Leben (lassen) können: Wer darf im Chor singen? Wie sollen Männer und Frauen sein? Und was passiert, wenn sich eine Person keinem dieser Geschlechter zugehörig fühlt? Mit diesen und ähnlichen Themen befasst sich das Zentrum für Genderforschung an der KUG, seit genau 10 Jahren.
Was ist der AirCampus?
Das Podcast-Projekt der vier Grazer Universitäten versorgt MitarbeiterInnen, Studierende sowie alle Interessierten das ganze Studienjahr über mit wissenswerten Infos aus der Welt der Forschung, aus dem Bildungsbereich und dem Campusleben der Universität Graz, Technischen Universität, Medizinischen Universität und Kunstuniversität.
Früher als "Webradio" bekannt, gibt es auf der Website http://www.aircampus-graz.at auch alle Podcasts, die vor dem 2. Oktober 2017 publiziert wurden, im Archiv zum Nachhören. Uns gibt es übrigens auch auf Spotify und Apple Podcasts!
Die Initiative erhielt 2012 den Inge-Morath-Preis des Landes Steiermark, 2017 den PR-Panther in der Kategorie "Wissenschaft" und 2018 den Green Panther in der Kategorie Online Kommunikation.
