Expertin informiert, wie Eltern ihre Kinder beim Umgang mit den Neuen Medien begleiten können

Die meisten Kinder und Jugendlichen können sich ein Leben ohne Smartphone und Facebook gar nicht vorstellen. Welche Gefahren ein unkritischer Umgang mit den Neuen Medien birgt, ist vielen nicht bewusst.

Auf Einladung von unikid ist Alexandra Adorjan, Polizeirevierinspektorin mit Fachschwerpunkt Suchtprävention/Kriminalprävention, am 15. Mai 2014 zu Gast an der Uni Graz. Von 14.30 bis 16 Uhr informiert die Expertin in der Harrachgasse 32, wie Eltern ihre Kinder beim Entdecken der Neuen Medien begleiten und welche Grenzen sie gemeinsam mit Jugendlichen diskutieren und setzen können, wo die Gefahren liegen und wie sich diese thematisieren lassen.

Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an Interessierte der Uni Graz, Kunstuni Graz und Joanneum Research.

Around the world in eight stops: the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz

On 24 April from 5 pm, you can take a short trip around the globe at the University of Graz, discovering pecularities of foreign countries or new local features in the entrance hall of the University Library. The itinerary takes you through introduced animal species, political attitudes and the omnipotence of algorithms. There will also be a programme in the historic reading hall, as well as at the UniGraz@Museum and the University Archive.
