UNI for LIFE und Caritas starten neue Ausbildung für sozialpsychiatrische Begleitung

Die Weiterbildungsgesellschaft der Universität Graz, die UNI for LIFE, startet gemeinsam mit dem Ausbildungszentrum für Sozialberufe der Caritas eine neue Ausbildung für sozialpsychiatrische Begleitung.

„Immer mehr Menschen leiden an einer psychischen Erkrankung. Die Bewältigung des Alltags stellt viele von ihnen vor große Herausforderungen. Um ihnen eine selbständige und unabhängige Lebensführung zu ermöglichen, bedarf es einer Vielzahl an professionellen Unterstützungsangeboten“, sagt Birgit Poier, Direktorin des Ausbildungszentrums für Sozialberufe der Caritas und stellvertretende Leiterin des Kurses "Sozialpsychiatrische Begleitung". „Die sozialpsychiatrische Arbeit hat sich auch mannigfaltig entwickelt. Zusätzlich zu den Varianten ambulanter und stationärer Leistungen wurden vermehrt teilstationäre und mobile Leistungen eingeführt. Vor allem hat sich aber der Qualitätsanspruch verändert“, so der wissenschaftliche Kursleiter, Arno Heimgartner vom Institut für Erziehungs- und Bildungswissenschaft der Universität Graz.

Kompetenz, Herz und Fachwissen

Der berufsbegleitende Universitätskurs, der im Frühjahr 2019 erstmals startet, vermittelt Diplom-SozialbetreuerInnen sowie Personen, die im Sozial- oder Gesundheitsbereich tätig sind, die fachlichen und theoretischen Kompetenzen für die Arbeit in außerstationären sozialpsychiatrischen Versorgungsinstitutionen. Die neue Ausbildung baut auf sozialpsychiatrischen Grundausbildungen auf und schärft die Kompetenzen in den Bereichen Diagnostik, intra- und interpersonalen sowie institutionellen Dynamiken in sozialpsychiatrischen Settings und Methoden sozialpsychiatrischer Betreuungsarbeit, um den gestiegenen Anforderungen Rechnung zu tragen.

Beim Infoabend wird die neue Ausbildung erstmals vorgestellt:

Rescue and risks: Researchers have surveyed public perceptions of AI

Chronic inflammation plays a key role in many diseases, ranging from metabolic disorders and cardiovascular diseases to tissue damage following injuries or infections. “Normally, the body is able to resolve inflammation on its own. If this process becomes unbalanced, immune cells remain permanently active and continue to drive negative changes in the tissue,” explains Andreas Koeberle, a pharmacist at the University of Graz.
