Die Universität Graz war wieder Plattform für den Austausch von Forschung und Praxis zum Thema Energierecht

Umweltschutz, der europäische Gasmarkt und der Umgang mit ausländischen Investitionen waren Themen, die am 16. Mai in der Aula diskutiert wurden. In Kooperation mit der Energie Steiermark veranstaltete die Universität Graz den mittlerweile neunten Energierechtstag. Das Ziel der von Jurist Karl Stöger geleiteten Veranstaltung ist es, den Austausch von Wissenschaft und Praxis zu aktuellen Fragestellungen zu ermöglichen. Die ReferentInnen kamen von unterschiedlichen Universitäten, österreichischen Behörden, der Europäischen Kommission sowie einer Wirtschaftskanzlei. Ein Schwerpunkt des diesjährigen Treffens war eine erste Aufarbeitung des EU-Legislativpaktes "Saubere Energie für alle", auch als "Winterpaket" bezeichnet.

Around the world in eight stops: the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz

On 24 April from 5 pm, you can take a short trip around the globe at the University of Graz, discovering pecularities of foreign countries or new local features in the entrance hall of the University Library. The itinerary takes you through introduced animal species, political attitudes and the omnipotence of algorithms. There will also be a programme in the historic reading hall, as well as at the UniGraz@Museum and the University Archive.
