Der erste Tag der Mediation ging österreichweit am 18. Juni über die Bühne.

Beim ersten Tag der Mediation informierten Profis über das sensible Thema

Konflikte richtig lösen - wie das gelingt, zeigten ExpertInnen der Uni Graz und der drei steirischen Mediationsverbände beim ersten Tag der Mediation, der österreichweit bzw. im gesamten deutschsprachigen Raum am 18. Juni 2014 stattfand. In der Grazer Innenstadt informierten die Profis rund um Assoz.-Prof. Dr. Sascha Ferz vom Zentrum für Soziale Kompetenz der Uni Graz über Sinn und Zweck der Mediation, das Angebot sowie Ausbildungsmöglichkeiten.

Ferz blickt auf eine gelungene Veranstaltung zurück: "Obwohl das Interesse der PassantInnen beachtlich war, sind fortlaufende Informationen sicherlich weiterhin notwendig. Die Sensibilisierung ist aus unserer Sicht jedenfalls gelungen!" Auch das Engagement der ehrenamtlich am Tag der Mediation mitwirkenden Studierenden, die als KonfliktberaterInnen tätig waren, hob Ferz besonders hervor.

Around the world in eight stops: the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz

On 24 April from 5 pm, you can take a short trip around the globe at the University of Graz, discovering pecularities of foreign countries or new local features in the entrance hall of the University Library. The itinerary takes you through introduced animal species, political attitudes and the omnipotence of algorithms. There will also be a programme in the historic reading hall, as well as at the UniGraz@Museum and the University Archive.
