Alumni-Fundraising der Universität vom Deutschen Hochschulverband ausgezeichnet

Bereits zum siebenten Mal wurde der "DACH-Fundraising-Preis" des Deutschen Hochschulverbandes (DHV) ausgelobt. An der diesjährigen Ausschreibung mit dem Schwerpunkt Alumni-Fundraising konnten sich zum dritten Mal Wissenschaftseinrichtungen aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz beteiligen. Dabei erhielten die Universität Graz sowie die Universität Potsdam einen Anerkennungspreis.

Die Universität Graz wurde für den konsequenten Ausbau ihres Alumni-Fundraisings geehrt, das die engen Beziehungen der Universität zu ihren Absolventinnen und Absolventen für die Weiterentwicklung des Wissenschaftsstandorts nutzbar macht. Ein weltumspannendes Netzwerk von 25.000 Alumnae und Alumni erhält über konkrete Anlässe hinaus in vielfältigen Projekten die Möglichkeit, mit ihrer Förderung unabhängige, zukunftsweisende Forschung und exzellente wissenschaftliche Leistungen voranzutreiben. "Diese Aktivitäten tragen wesentlich zur Finanzierung unserer wegweisenden Forschung bei", so der geschäftsführende Rektor Peter Riedler

Der diesjährige Hauptpreis ging zum dritten Mal in Folge in die Schweiz, diesmal an die HSG Stiftung der Universität St. Gallen.
