Vergünstigte Konferenzpässe für MitarbeiterInnen für die Urban Future Global Conference 2014

Die Urban Future Global Conference zählt zu den bedeutendsten internationalen Treffpunkten für nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung - in Zusammenarbeit mit den Vereinten Nationen bringt die Urban Future Global Conference & Expo 2014 am 18. und 19. November 2014 im messecongress Graz rund 120 internationale Speaker und mehr als 1.000 Smart City ExpertInnen, VertreterInnen von Technologieunternehmen, BürgermeisterInnen, StadtplanerInnen, NGOs, WissenschafterInnen und internationale RegierungsvertreterInnen nach Graz.

Die Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz ist an der Planung gleich mehrerer Sessions zum Thema „Smart Communications“ beteiligt und ist im Rahmen ihrer Initiative "Nachhaltige Universität" Partnerin der Großtagung. MitarbeiterInnen erhalten daher vergünstigte Konferenzpässe!

Im Fokus der international besetzten Konferenz für nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung stehen die vier Schwerpunktthemen Energie, Mobilität, Wohnen und Stadtplanung sowie Kommunikation. Ein stark interaktiv ausgerichteter Mix aus Keynote Präsentationen, Fallstudien, Podiumsdiskussionen und Q&A-Sessions liefert brandaktuelles Know-how zu den zentralen Herausforderungen nachhaltiger Stadtentwicklung. How formulas are making medicine more personalised

When Federica Caforio talks about the heart, it doesn’t sound like an operating theatre, but rather like equations, parameters and simulations. Yet this is precisely where the medical promise of her research lies: one day, clinical data will be used to create a digital twin of the heart – a virtual model that will enable a better understanding of diseases and allow for more personalised treatment plans. She will be presenting her research at the ‘ECMTB 2026’ mathematics conference.
