Das Rektorat hat Sonderregelungen für den Studienbetrieb während der Corona-Pandemie festgesetzt

Studienrechtliche Sonderregelungen für Beurlaubungen, Lehrveranstaltungen und Prüfungen unter den derzeit geltenden Sicherheitsvorkehrungen sollen mögliche Nachteile für Studierende minimieren. Die Verordnung des Rektorats ist in der 52. Sondernummer des Mitteilungsblattes veröffentlicht und gilt bis längstens 28. Feber 2021.

Wesentliche Punkte darin betreffen

Eine Beurlaubung aus Gründen, die in Zusammenhang mit Covid-19 stehen. Eine solche kann für das Sommersemester bis längestens 30. Juni 2020 beantragt werden.
Die Studieneingangs- und Orientierungsphase: Wer diese bis 23. April 2020 nicht abschließen konnte, kann dennoch in größerem Umfang als bisher Lehrveranstaltungen und Prüfungen absolvieren.
Lehrveranstaltungen: Nicht durch Distance-Teaching substituierbare Teile können im laufenden Semester unter Einhaltung der Sicherheitsbestimmungen auch wieder in Präsenz stattfinden.
Vorlesungs- und Fachprüfungen: Diese sind bis auf wenige Ausnahmen bis 30. September online abzuhalten. Zwischen 1. März und 30. September 2020 sind mindestens drei Prüfungstrmine anzubieten, wovon einer vor dem 30. Juni stattzufinden hat. Um Fairness und Sicherheit zu gewährleisten, gelten ausführliche Bestimmungen. Bei Präsenzprüfungen sind nur zentrale Zugänge zum Universitätsgebäude zu wählen und Sicherheitsbestimmungen einzuhalten.

Rescue and risks: Researchers have surveyed public perceptions of AI

The EU’s AI Act, which has been in force since then, also sets out how risky an application is and which security measures apply as a result. However, the assessment of risks by the legislation differs in some cases significantly from the perceptions of the Austrian public.
