Festakt zum 100. Geburtstag von Hermann Wiesflecker

Auf den Tag genau vor 100 Jahren, dem 27. November 1913, wurde Hermann Wiesflecker geboren. Im Gedenken an den anerkannten Historiker, Dekan der Philosophischen Fakultät und Rektor der Karl-Franzens-Universität lud das Institut für Geschichte am 27. November 2013 zu einer Festveranstaltung in den Senatssaal. „Wir erinnern uns voller Dankbarkeit an Hermann Wiesflecker und die große Zeit der österreichischen Geschichte“, so Ao.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dieter A. Binder.

Den Festvortrag hielt Em.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Moritz Csaky, er war auch Nachfolger von Wiesflecker. Unter den Festgästen befanden sich ehemalige KollegInnen und Studierende: O.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Helmut Konrad, Ao.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Harald Heppner sowie die Witwe Ass.Prof.i.R. Dr. Ingeborg Wiesflecker-Friedhuber.
