Die Uni Graz startet heute in ein neues Studienjahr

Nach der Sommerpause steht im Monat Oktober das Thema „Lehre macht Karriere“ im Mittelpunkt des Interesses, den Anfang macht heute ein Überblick mit Zahlen und Fakten.

Insgesamt 3688 Lehrveranstaltungen werden im Wintersemester in genau 418 Hörsälen, Seminar- und Unterrichtsräumen an der Universität Graz abgehalten. 585 sind davon englischsprachig – mehr als in den vergangenen Jahren. Insgesamt gibt es 38 Bachelor-, 67 Master- und 11 Doktoratsstudien, 4 Diplom- und 19 Lehramtsstudien. Rund 31.500 Studierende sind an der Uni Graz derzeit inskribiert. Qualitative Lehre wird an der Uni Graz großgeschrieben: Initiativen wie etwa High Noon - Didaktik zu Mittag oder das neugegründete Schreibzentrum unterstützen Studierende und Lehrende gleichsam, indem sie für beide Seite optimale Bedingungen schaffen.

Erweiterte Hörsaal-Infrastruktur

Über die Sommermonate wurde auch die eine oder andere Hörsaaltechnik umgebaut und auf den neuesten Stand gebracht. Folgende Unterrichtsräume wurden von der AV-Medienstelle der UNI-IT mit einer neuen Medientechnik ausgestattet:

Around the world in eight stops: the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz

On 24 April from 5 pm, you can take a short trip around the globe at the University of Graz, discovering pecularities of foreign countries or new local features in the entrance hall of the University Library. The itinerary takes you through introduced animal species, political attitudes and the omnipotence of algorithms. There will also be a programme in the historic reading hall, as well as at the UniGraz@Museum and the University Archive.
