Absolvent der Uni Graz erarbeitete Konzepte zur Förderung der regionalen Entwicklung

Rund um die steirische Teichalm erstreckt sich der Naturpark Almenland mit seinen 13 Gemeinden. Die Region bietet in einer malerischen Landschaft zahlreiche Freizeitmöglichkeiten, aber auch kulturelle und kulinarische Besonderheiten. Um die Entwicklung des Almenlands weiter voranzutreiben, hat Betriebswirt Karl Zettler, MSc, im Rahmen seiner Masterarbeit an der Uni Graz zwei Maßnahmen zur Stärkung des Standorts konzipiert – im Auftrag des Vereins Almenland Wirtschaft.

 

Zielsetzung der Masterarbeit, bei der Karl Zettler von Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alfred Gutschelhofer und Dr. Matthias Ruhri vom Institut für Unternehmensführung und Entrepreneurship der Uni Graz betreut wurde, war es, nachhaltige Projekte zu konzipieren, von denen alle Betriebe der Region profitieren. Ein Ergebnis ist die „Almenland-Wirtschaftsplattform“. „Als eine Kombination aus Website und Webshop soll sie gleichzeitig ein Forum für die Bewerbung des Almenlands und für den Verkauf regionaler Erzeugnisse sein“, erklärt Karl Zettler. Somit könnten über die Plattform nicht nur verschiedenste Produkte angeboten, sondern durch Marketing-Maßnahmen auch weitere Potenziale genutzt werden.

 

Zettler hat zu diesem Zweck innovative Package-Angebote entwickelt. So zum Beispiel den „Almenland-Genuss-Tag“ mit einem Almo-Galamenü und einer Übernachtung für zwei Personen, das Paket „Almenland E-Mobility“, das ein Auto-Service und eine E-Bike-Tour inkludiert, oder das „Paragleit-Wochenende“ mit einem Tandem-Flug und zwei Übernachtungen. Außerdem könnten sich auf der Website Betriebe der Region präsentieren und Werbebotschaften platziert werden.

 

Das zweite Konzept des Uni-Graz-Absolventen nennt sich „Schnittstelle Region – universitäres Wissen“ und zeigt Möglichkeiten der Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Unternehmen im Almenland und der Universität Graz auf, mit dem Ziel, den Wissenstransfer zu fördern und der Landflucht hochqualifizierter Arbeitskräfte entgegenzuwirken. Ausgelotet werden Chancen der Kooperation im Rahmen von Ferialarbeit, Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten, Dissertationen und Forschungsprojekten sowie im Bereich der Lehre durch Vortragende aus der Praxis. Karl Zettler ist überzeugt: „Die Almenland-Wirtschaftsplattform und ein verstärkter Austausch zwischen Region und Universität könnten viel bewirken im Bemühen, das Almenland noch bekannter zu machen und seinen Betrieben neue Impulse zu geben.“
