Uni Graz ehrte AbsolventInnen zum 50-Jahr-Jubiläum

Sie sind anerkannte Persönlichkeiten, blicken auf eine glänzende Karriere. Den Grundstein dafür haben sie an der Universität Graz gelegt, mit einem Studium, das sie vor 50 Jahren abgeschlossen haben. Insgesamt 35 AbsolventInnen wurden heute Dienstag, den 28. September 2021 für ihr hervorragendes berufliches Wirken, besondere wissenschaftliche Verdienste oder die enge Verbundenheit mit der Universität Graz geehrt.

Rektor Martin Polaschek überreichte das „Goldene Doktordiplom“ beim Festakt in der Aula unter anderem an die frühere OGH-Präsidentin Irmgard Griss, den langjährigen Raiffeisen-General Georg Doppelhofer und den ehemaligen Wirtschaftskammer-Direktor Benno Rupp. „Das gesellschaftliche Engagement unserer AbsolventInnen zeichnet die Universität aus und ist ein Vorbild für unsere Studierenden“, würdigte Rektor Polaschek die Leistungen und erneuerte die akademischen Grade der JubilarInnen.

Weiters ausgezeichnet wurden die bekannte ORF-Journalistin Gudrun Gröbelbauer, der Ex-Chef des Landespressedienst Steiermark Dieter Rupnik und Heinz Wietrzyk, ehemaliger Präsident des Oberlandesgerichts Graz.
