Die Autorin und ihr Kritiker: Gemeinsam mit dem Grazer Literaturhaus wurde zur "UB Baustellenlesung" mit Doris Knecht geladen

Es war ein lauer Sommerabend am gestrigen Montag. Perfektes Wetter für ein Experiment sozusagen. Die Universität Graz und das Grazer Literaturhaus luden zu einer literarischen Besonderheit, einer "Baustellenlesung" mit der österreichischen Autorin Doris Knecht auf den Vorplatz des RESOWI-Gebäudes. Der Platz wurde zur Bühne, die Stufen zum Publikumsraum. Vor der Kulisse der Universitätsbibliothek duellierten sich Doris Knecht und ihr Moderator, der Literaturkritiker Carsten Otte, wahrlich in einem Dialogefecht. Besprochen wurde der Roman "weg", den die Autorin mitgebracht hatte und der penibel genau vom Literaturkritiker unter die Augen genommen und im Zwiegespräch mit der Verfasserin zerpflückt wurde. Vizerektor Peter Riedler erzählte Wissenswertes über den Bibliotheksbau, Klaus Kastberger begrüßte als Leiter des Literaturhauses die Gäste und die ZuhörerInnen. Die Lesung, die aus dem Sommerprogramm des Grazer Literaturhauses entnommen wurde, sollte den Bezug Baustelle-Bibliothek-Buch herstellen und die Zeit bis zur Eröffnung des neuen Hauses Ende September verkürzen.
