Die Lange Nacht der Forschung am 4. April dreht sich an der Uni Graz um die Themen Essen und Ernährung

Gibt es Nahrungsmittel, die jung halten? Welche Gaumenfreuden kannten die Menschen im Mittelalter? Und was verraten Zähne über den Menüplan? Diese und viele andere spannende Fragen beantworten WissenschafterInnen der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz am 4. April 2014 in der Langen Nacht der Forschung.

Insgesamt 19 Stationen bieten zwischen 17 und 23 Uhr ein vielfältiges Programm, das alle Sinne anspricht und Erwachsene ebenso wie Kinder zum Mitmachen, Zuschauen, Zuhören, Riechen und Schmecken einlädt.
Die Stationen verteilen sich auf vier Standorte der Uni Graz: das neu renovierte Chemie-Gebäude am Universitätsplatz 1, den Botanischen Garten in der Schubertstraße 59, das UniGraz@Museum am Universitätsplatz 3 (Hauptgebäude) und das im Haus der Wissenschaft in der Elisabethstraße 27.

Around the world in eight stops: the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz

On 24 April from 5 pm, you can take a short trip around the globe at the University of Graz, discovering pecularities of foreign countries or new local features in the entrance hall of the University Library. The itinerary takes you through introduced animal species, political attitudes and the omnipotence of algorithms. There will also be a programme in the historic reading hall, as well as at the UniGraz@Museum and the University Archive.
